Thank you for this. This abomination of a folder manager is already frustrating enough to use. It's insane that the option to re-enable the Quick Access is under an option labeled as such. Too bad it seems like Microsoft may be hell-bent on forcing this terrible change on us permanently in future updates.

Also weird that sometimes randomly after an update, not even updates in file explorer, i loose all pinned items. Happened to me a couple times now already. File Explorer is still quite unstable. Crashes a lot, is slow sometimes and has many issues

I was missing One Drive, Documents and Pictures from the File Explorer menu on Windows 11 Pro. I tried what you suggested and everything else I could find on the Internet, but nothing worked. I could do a search and I would find the Documents and Pictures folders because I saved them to my computer hard drive, but I could not pin those folders to the Quick Access menu. My computer was still showing the Quick Access menu and it just updated 2 days ago. These things just disappeared after the last update. What I found out was that I was no longer logged into One Drive after the update. Once I logged into One Drive, the One Drive folder opened with Documents and Pictures under it. Then I highlighted the folders and was able to pin them to the Quick Access Menu. So now when I click on Home, I have the Home menu on the left with all the files listed and the Quick Access menu that opens to the right of the Home Menu with all the files listed. I now know that it was a One Drive update that got rid of the Quick Access menu If you log out of One Drive, the Quick Access menu will be there, instead of the Home menu, but now I have both. One Drive seems to hijack your files whether you save them to your computer or not. I tried to take One Drive off my computer, altogether, because it causes so many problems for me, but then it also removed all my files that I have saved on my computer, so that is not an option. I think Microsoft does this so that you will eventually need to buy more storage from them, unless you want to start deleting files. Hopefully, this will help someone.

If i just untick the remote access box, is that enough protection? As i dont want to access away from my computer anyway. this and the Wifi Password? Also if are always on a VPN, does this make it harder to get access anyway? or not?

My Windows 11 PC keeps forgetting its settings for the Home folder. Instead of showing Quick Access, Favourites and Recent as headings, it just shows some kind of list. I have to use "Options -> View -> Reset Folders" to make it re-appear. This happens at least once a day and gets very annoying. Anyone had that, or know a fix?

Show recommended actions has now disappeared. What is wrong with Microsoft??

there are already comments on MS forums that this doesn't work because there's no such selection or it is grayed out and can't be selected. Try again.

This looks very much like my old midis. Just a tip, the your toms and snare sounds weak cause probably you are using the 100 velocity area with accents. Superior an EZ needs higher velocities to really pull out the samples that sounds cool. When I use my old midis as a base for a cover with superior drummer, I humanize them manually and raise the velocities. Also try a drum enhancer setup from any brand (Ozone). They will pump your sound in a nutshell. Good job.

Doesn't work. When I click Options from the ellipses there is no Show Recommended Section choice. There are only 3 choices listed, not 4 as appears in your video.
